Where do I start.. we took time off in the blink of an eye back in late August without any explanation and we apologise. Its been a hard road. An emotional road as my husband and i went through IVF.
Anyone that has gone down this road will understand its emotionally a challenge each day. But our goal was to get pregnant and we did...
I wanted to wait till my 13 week scan to tell everyone and it's exciting to share especially after so much but anyone that is trying to have a baby, stay positive. And if you go down the IVF road just know your not alone. There's alot of support around including family, friends, counsellors and organisations such as beyond blue.
And another beautiful organisation that I didnt think I would have to go through is PINK ELEPHANTS.
So what do PINK ELEPHANTS DO??
"provide the latest resources, information and peer-support for anyone impacted by early pregnancy loss. Using evidence, empathy and connection, our unique digital-first approach offers a single source of specialist support, whenever and wherever it’s needed — for anyone who has directly experienced it, for family and friends, corporate partners or healthcare professionals seeking proven ways to help." Extracted from their website.
My husband and i were expecting twins and we lost one. It was unbearable. But again you need your support system and for us this included PINK ELEPHANTS.
